Depart M6 Exit 36 on Ramp (South-West) onto the A590 and follow signs for Barrow-in-Furness. Turn off the A590 at Greenodd onto the A5092 towards Grizbeck and Broughton-in-Furness. Stay on this road and follow the signs for Millom The A5092 turns into the A595. Turn off onto the A5087 at the church and head into Millom. Go round the bend in Millom past the garage on the corner and take the next left towards Haverigg. Arrive Haverigg GRID REF. SD17/134788 After arriving at Haverigg ask where the coast guard station is go straight past that and follow the track until you arrive at the gate pictured below at this point you will have to walk up to the site (1.8km) or go back to the Farm because the gate is padlocked and only club members or Fred the farmer have the authority to open it. |
